CYCLAMEN

Cyclamen bring a burst of cool-season color indoors with elegant, upswept blooms and beautifully patterned foliage. They thrive in bright, indirect light and prefer cool temperatures (60–65°F), making them ideal for sunny windows away from heat vents. Water from the bottom or at the soil line when the top inch feels dry, and never allow the tuber to sit in soggy soil to prevent rot. Keep humidity moderate with a pebble tray, and remove spent flowers by gently twisting stems at the base to encourage continuous blooming. As temperatures warm, cyclamen naturally enter summer dormancy—reduce watering as leaves yellow, then resume care in fall for another round of blooms.
